§ 62-105. Utilization of space at the county detention center.

All space in the county detention center on Florida Avenue, Lake City, Florida, shall be used solely for correctional or correctional related duties only. However, nothing contained herein shall prohibit the sheriff from utilizing the facilities of the county detention center for the training of law enforcement and correctional officers, nor from utilizing unoccupied portions of the county detention center for temporary law enforcement operations. All questions of propriety of use shall be decided by both the board of county commissioners and the sheriff after recommendation of the corrections committee.
