§ 62-106. Ownership of equipment.

All property purchased and used to furnish and equip the county detention center shall be the property of the board of county commissioners. All items or property purchased from funds of the budget of the county correctional system shall be the property of the sheriff as chief correctional officer and shall be inventoried by the sheriff as correctional property and shall not be transferred to other permanent use.
